Passion is Bradley Photography's pictorial documentary library of the lives of people in and around the North of England at the beginning of the 21st century.

It is so named as it reflects the passion for this project - the observation of passionate people.

Although Passion is principally following the lives of Northerners and people who exert passion and influence within this region by using Bradley's portraiture technique, this is not a strictly limited criteria - which makes this project so interesting. It will also track migrants and nomads - people who may have at one time resided in the North and have since moved on or perhaps individuals or families who have stayed for a brief period.

Passion will chart many individuals over the coming years - ordinary workers, well-known personalities, local people are only a tiny proportion of what will be undertaken.

Passion is housed and hosted at Tyne and Wear Archives Service for public use.
